Welcome to 2012

As Kurtis and I (Julia) look out onto 2012, we are both excited and nervous about the upcoming year. The past two years have been record breaking for us and 2012 is proving not to disappoint. So many amazing weddings, births, kids, families, engagements, commercial work and personal art projects. We have been so busy it has been hard to be able to come up for air most of the time. Because we have had the good luck of being so busy we have realized that lots of areas of our business have suffered… badly. One of the main things is our blog. We only blogged twice last year. ONLY TWICE!!! OMG! I had to sigh and laugh all at the same time. People must think that we are not busy and have closed up shop. But that is far far from the truth. Our business is healthy, happy and striving forward. So…. things have to change at Kracke Photography. We have got to get caught up with our blog and share with you all the amazing things we did last year. We are going to start with the weddings, then move on to the kids…. oh the kids and babies we have photographed, so so so cute! Then to families, engagements, commercial work and personal projects.. yes, believe it or not we did find time to actually do some personal photo projects. The first project is to clean and get organized.

Here it is, command central of Kracke Photography, in all it’s frighting, messy, craziness. I know where everything is, I think… ; – )

We are looking forward to sharing all our amazing events from 2011 and the beautiful events that will happen in 2012.

Happy New Year!

Peace and Love

Julia and Kurtis

WOW are we behind on blogging!!!!!

It’s mid July!!!! OMG, where has the time gone. We still have weddings from May and June to share with you all…. eeeek! Julia is working on the posts and will be releasing them soon… In the mean time here are some teasers from Steve and Regina’s wedding at the beginning of July. The wedding and reception was held in Steve’s grandmothers garden right on the water.

Thank you NY State for passing marriage equality!!

Kurtis and I couldn’t be more happy then to of been in NYC when they announced that New York has become the latest state to pass marriage equality!

A few years ago we photographed the wedding of Amy and Fran at The Cologate Rochester Crozer Divinity School and are so happy for them and their families today and all the other LGBT men and women that can now legally say “I Do”

Happy Mothers Day

OMG! We have been so busy in our “off-season” photographing little babies, kids and families that I just realized we haven’t posted anything since Feb. YIKES! So in honor of Mothers Day here is a selection of some of the little cuties we have had the pleasure of photographing.
